How to set up your branding

Same look every time, zero faff

Brand overlays and templates let you make your Jugo sessions look consistently “on brand”, without rebuilding the same setup every time. Set it once, reuse it forever (or at least until your brand team changes the hex codes again).

What is a brand overlay?

A brand overlay is the visual layer that sits on top of your meeting experience:

  • Your logo

  • Your brand colours

  • Any background/texture assets

  • (In some setups) layout styling that helps your session feel consistent

Think of it as your meeting’s “skin” - same content, nicer outfit.

What is a template?

A template is a saved environment you can reuse for future meetings. Templates are useful when you run the same kind of session repeatedly (e.g., weekly team updates, customer demos, training sessions, pitches).

Enterprise accounts include a dedicated admin role that can manage company-wide branding, ensuring a consistent look and feel across all employees. At the same time, individual users can still personalise their own environments to suit their preferences.

Depending on your workspace setup, a template may include:

  • Your chosen 3D environment

  • Primary/ secondary colours

  • Uploaded brand assets (logo, texture)

  • Any overlay choices applied to that meeting

When to use overlays vs templates

  • Use a brand overlay when you want everything to look consistently branded across meetings

  • Use templates when you run different types of meetings and want quick “one-click” setups (e.g., Demo template vs Workshop template)

Most teams do both:

  • One “default” overlay for the company

  • A few templates for common session types, completely customisable by account

How to create or update your brand overlay

  1. Open Settings (or your meeting setup screen) and go to Branding/ 3D environment

  2. Choose your 3D environment (the scene your meetings will use)

  3. Set your brand colours:

    • Primary colour

    • Secondary colour

  4. Upload your brand assets:

    • Main logo

    • Horizontal logo (optional - this can be useful if you're having issues with your main logo)

    • Brand texture (optional)

  5. Save your changes

Your updates will apply anywhere the overlay is used.

Best-practice tips (so it looks good)

  • Use a transparent PNG for logos if possible

  • If your logo is dark, pick a lighter primary/secondary colour so it doesn’t disappear

  • Keep textures subtle. If it’s too loud, it can make text harder to read

How to create a template

  1. Set up a meeting exactly how you want it to look:

    • Environment

    • Colours

    • Logo/branding choices

  2. Select save as template (or Create template) in the top right corner of your screen

  3. Give it a name you’ll recognise later (e.g., “Customer demo”, “Weekly All Hands”)

Using a template

When scheduling a meeting (or setting one up), choose your template, and Jugo will apply that setup automatically.

Editing or deleting templates

Edit a template

  1. Open your Templates list

  2. Select the template you want to change

  3. Update the branding/environment settings

Delete a template

  1. Open your Templates list

  2. Select the template

  3. Choose Delete

Deleting a template won’t delete your meetings; it just removes that saved setup.

Troubleshooting

My logo looks blurry

  • Upload a higher-resolution PNG (ideally a few hundred pixels wide at minimum)

  • Avoid screenshots of logos (they’re often low quality). Instead, ask your design or marketing team for the PNG

My logo disappears/ has poor contrast

  • Switch to a lighter/darker colour combination

  • Try the horizontal logo version if it fits better

My template didn’t apply to a meeting

  • Refresh and try again (sometimes settings need a moment to sync)

  • Confirm you selected the template before starting the meeting

  • If your workspace has roles, check you have permission to edit branding/templates

Coming soon / locked features

If you see padlocked branding-related options in your workspace, those features are planned for a later release. Your core brand overlay (logo, colours, textures, environment) will still work as expected.

Whenever we release new features or fix issues, we publish patch notes to keep everyone up to date on what’s changed and improved.
