This article is to give you an overview of Director View and what the different sections mean.
What is Director View?
Director View is where we manage events whilst they are live in Jugo. It's designed to be simple to use, this means for smaller events one person is able to direct the event/meeting by controlling the content, agenda, and attendees as well as being the meeting host or speaker in the middle of the Jugo venue.
How to I log into Director View?
You can join as a Director by selecting Director View for the relevant event in your workspace.
Click here for guidance of how to join as a Director
Click here for steps on how to give someone else Directing rights to an Event if they are not the Event Organizer.
Follow the joining instructions, enabling your camera, microphone and speakers.
The Director view will then display.
For larger meetings with more complex agendas, we recommend having a dedicated event director to make sure everything runs like clockwork.
Directors View is split into 4 main Sections as shown in the above image of Director's View. A brief summary of these can be found below along with dedicated links for more in depth help with each of these sections
Directors View Sections:
Preview and Setup Section Overview
The main function of the preview section is to provide a seamless experience during an event or meeting between different speakers and agenda items. The directors can change the layout of the main screen to incorporate presentation content, event participants or a combination, or both.
In addition, the director can setup and change the camera angle in advance and transition to this view at any time. The transition controls are located between the preview and the live view as shown below.
