Event Basics
First, we need to give our event a name and add a summary* of your event if you have one. You can easily add or edit this later. Then, we need to add an Event Contact Email. This is for attendees to contact if they have any questions prior to your event.
Once done, you should have something similar to the below:
*The event summary will show on the Event Registration page that Jugo automatically creates for you. We look at this later in the guide.
Event Date and Time
Set the Time Zone for your event. This is usually the place where the majority of the attendees will be. The time will be adjusted to each attendees' local time zone.
Add the event Date and Time* for our event and select the main time zone for your event; as with everything in Jugo, you can quickly amend these later.
*Later, when you create an agenda for your event sessions will be within the start and end time you have added here.
Then select Save
Once you have done this, more options will appear such as Event Page Branding as well as more tabs on the left hand side for adding more content.
Interaction Options
Depending on the format of your event, you may want to allow one or all of the interaction options shown below. When adding your agenda, these can also be managed on a session-by-session basis. So unless you are sure you don't want any audience interaction throughout your event, you can leave these selected.
Event Page Branding
Registration pages by default will use the Jugo branding. You can choose to customize your registration page by uploading a Page Background and Event logo that relates to your company/ team.
Click on Upload and select the image you wish to use.
Note: We recommend at least 1920 x 1080px for background pictures and at least 500px width/height with transparent background PNG or SVG files for logos
Congratulations, you have created your first event. Make sure to hit Save to lock your details in.
After you save your event, Jugo creates your event structure in the background, and you will see more options in the left-hand navigation pane, as shown below:
This guide works through all event sections, starting with the Agenda. If you don't have an agenda or want to come back to it later, you can select another area instead.
Select the section you want to work from the navigation bar and choose from the links below to continue this guide.
