The Tool Bar is where you can access various functions and features during a live Event or Meeting.
Depending on the features that your event organiser has activated, the Toolbar gives you access to features like Chat and Q&A. See below for a description of the various Toolbar features.
1. Share Screen
Share Screen in Jugo works a little different than on other platforms. When you use the Screen Share function as shown below, the Event Director is notified you have requested to share your screen and can choose if and when to show your screen.
Select the Share Screen from the Toolbar to open up the below options box.
You then have the following options, Share your entire screen. If you have multiple screens connected Jugo will show a screen chooser window. Simply select the screen you wish to share and hit the Share button when you are done. The request to share your screen has been sent to the Event Director.
Sharing a window works in much the same way and you will see an option box similar to the below where you can choose the app or screen you wish to share.
The last option share Chrome Tab allows you to choose a specific tab from your browser as shown in the image below. Simply select the tab you wish to share and then select the blue Share button to send your request to the Event Director.
2. Enter Full Screen
For the best distraction free experience with Jugo, we recommended going full screen. To do this simply select the Full Screen option to enter the full screen as shown below.
3. Show Chat
Chat is a really powerful feature. The event organiser can choose whether to enable this feature when they create an event. Additionally, the event organiser may also activate the Q&A feature shown in the walk-through below. To get started select Show Chat to open the chat side panel on the right-hand side of your screen as shown below. You can switch between Chat and Q&A from the top of the chat sidebar.
Chat is great for general stuff and Q&A is great for more structured questions as shown below with the Q&A tab selected.
4. Show Attendees
Show Attendees open up the right-hand sidebar to show a list of all the attendees currently in the event as shown below.
5. Camera Options
Camera options allow you quick access to 2 settings. Show Camera (A) refers show and hiding your own camera view and (B) Turning off Camera.
Showing your camera view is useful to ensure you are positioned correctly. You may find you don't want this showing for the duration of the event.
There may be some instances where you want to turn your camera on and off temporarily. You do this by selecting. Jugo is an immersive environment and we recommend you keep your camera turned on at all times!
See below example of how your screen will look when you Show or Hide your camera.
6. Mute Microphone
Muting your microphone is recommended whenever you are not actively involved in speaking. This ensures that any background noise from your location will disrupt the event.
When you join an event, your microphone is muted by default. When muted the Mute Microphone will look like the below.
When you are Unmuted it will look like below.
Lastly, you may see the Mute icon turn red like below. This means you have been muted by the Event Director. This will typically be done to ensure there is no background noise that could effect the event.
7. Settings
The setting will open in the right-hand sidebar and gives you various options you change your audio (Speaker Microphone and Camera settings.) These settings are especially useful if you have more than one camera or you want to switch between your speakers and headphones.
More information about these functions can be found at the links below.
8. Leave Event
When your event is finished use the Leave function to leave the event.
