A bad internet connection can be both frustrating to resolve and will have a major impact on the quality of your Jugo experience.
If you have joined a Jugo event and have a poor connection then this will most likely lead to a poor-quality experience within Jugo.
Corporate Networks/Firewalls and VPNs can all degrade the performance of your network connection.
We highly recommend that you follow the best practices guide and test your internet connection prior to the event. If you are experiencing a poor or choppy connection/bandwidth, then you may need to follow the Network Connection Help at the end of this article. This will involve leaving the event and rejoining - Prior to doing this please use the checklist below.
In Event Help Checklist
- Is there an option to connect directly using a Ethernet Cable?
- Can I move around the location I'm in to find a better wi-fi signal?
- Am I running other applications during the event, and can I close these?
- Can I close any tabs in Chrome or preferred browser to improve performance?
If none of the above actions improve the performance of the connection, you may need to leave the event and restart your computer before following the help articles below. These guides will only take a few minutes to run through before you can rejoin.
