If you have joined a Jugo event but are having issues with hearing the event or if you are participating and people cannot hear you, then check out the steps below.
Help with Hearing the Audio from the Event
Jugo will typically use the default settings from your computer for the audio and microphone settings, so before adjusting any setting in Jugo, ensure your volume is turned up, and you are not on mute. Then, if you still cannot hear anything, follow the simple process below to ensure everything is set correctly.
Go to the Jugo Help Bar in the top right of your screen, select the three dots and select Settings from the drop-down menu.
You will now see the below options similar to the below where you can access the settings and choose the output device from the drop down menu for sound within Jugo. In the example below we have selected the default headphones.
If you still cannot hear anything you may need to check the sound settings on your computer. For information on how to do this on your computer see below.

When you first join a Jugo event your microphone is automatically muted as shown in the image (1) below. Click on this to unmute yourself, if other participants still cannot hear you go to the Jugo Help Bar in the top right of your screen and select the Settings icon.
Check the tick box next to the microphone symbol is checked. If the green bar next to the microphone is moving when you speak into your microphone then your sound should be working and other will be able to hear you. If you need to change the microphone you plan to use then you can select the camera from the drop down list.
If you still cannot hear anything you may need to check the sound settings on your computer.
